National Prayer Day

President Obama signs day of prayer in private. Hmm.. National Day of Prayer and the people don't have a say in it? If this day of prayer is a day of peace and prayer amongst a variety of religions I would accept it. However, if it was just a prayer day for some religions, I would think it is unfair towards other religions. What do you think?

  1. He did not authorize or create National Prayer Day. It has been around for many years. It might seem unfair to people of other religions, but it is specifically towards Christianity. And the government has no say in what you can or cannot do in terms of religion, because it is a private matter. But any other religion can petition or get their people or followers together and organize such a thing. It is not like they are being held against their will from practicing their religion.
